About
I work with sound, especially with the voice. I explore this topic from various perspectives – artistic, educational and theoretical.
I live in Warsaw. I initiate and participate in artistic activities around sound. I sing using different vocal traditions, sometimes experimenting. I run workshops on voice emission, traditional singing, as well as soundwalks.
My main interests are:
organic voice – embedded in the body, sincere in expression, aware of its relationship with the environment;
sound perception – ways of listening, deepening the experience, sound ecology.
For years, I have been researching these issues in various musical cultures, rituals, mythologies, theatre, film and contemporary art, intertwining theory with practice. I love looking for connections between disciplines and cultures.
I believe that working on the voice and sound is positive and necessary, because it improves the psycho-physical condition, deepens the ability to empathize, provides broad expressive and communicative possibilities and has enormous social potential.
